On Saturday Feb 14th Cherry Bomb Comics will be running a stall from 2-7pm at the Cross St Carnival www.crossstreetcarnival.com (just off k'rd, auckland city) so come along and touch our actual zines and graphic novels in the real!
We are also running an undercover zine-making booth for International Literature Conspiracy Week - check out www.stickyinstitute.com for more details of events hosted by the Federation of Independent Thinking slated for this worldwide festival of indie book and zine shops...
The booth is going to be a site for making a collaborative
conspiratorial zine (open to any member of the public who is game to
enter!) and will be kitted out with gloves, tweezers, magnifying glass,
scissors and paste, and lots of found printed material (text & images) to piece together a purely anonymous zine
in the style of a kidnapper's note or a postmodern fridge-poem.
