Incredibly Hot Sex with Hideous People presents My Life with Madonna

The second CD to come out with New Zealand’s “longest running fanzine*” Incredibly Hot Sex with Hideous People. This is issue 34!

In 2006, Issue 24 came out with a CD of John Lennon covers – My Life with John Lennon. This time it’s Madonna’s turn to be given the treatment - My Life with Madonna. What kind of treatment? Well, I couldn’t call it a tribute album as it seems many of the contributors are determined to tear the material girl to shreds (see zine Editorial). The CD includes many Wellington contributors, a few from Hamilton, and one from Auckland. Wellington’s no doubt favoured as that’s the stomping ground of Incredibly Hot Sex with Hideous People, which comes out as a Cuba Street freebee (sans CD) four times a year.

This issue of the accompanying zine has regular people’s stories about meeting famous people. A fitting accompaniment to a CD featuring local lo-fi covers of high production hits by the world’s arguably most famous woman.
